Well. I wasn’t going to blog today, but it seems unavoidable. You know why? Because there is SO MUCH to talk about today! So buckle up, friends. Here we go.
1) The lovely and talented Sara McClung is running a RIDICULOUS giveaway over at her blog! I mean, people, if you don’t enter this one? I don’t even know what to say to you. So click HERE right now and throw your name in the hat!
2) If you missed it (and I sincerely hope you didn’t!) I hosted my own contest that ends tonight at midnight. So if you’re just now hearing about it, it’s not too late and I’m giving away some pretty good prizes of my own! Click HERE to see the rules and prizes, and then go ahead and send me your entry!
3) I’m the honored recipient of two new blog awards! Carol Miller was kind enough to pass the Quillfeather Award on to me. Thanks, Carol! The rules for accepting this award are as follows:
Before you take him home, you have to tell me how you like your eggs cooked. Feel free to hand over the award to other Cool Chicks if you wish, but please advise those recipients to keep his hutch clean and tidy at all times. Oh, and make sure he has plenty of grain and water. And love….
Alright, so first, I like my eggs scrambled, poached, fried, or baked, or in omelette form. Yeah, I’m kind of an egg freak. I also enjoy them with salsa and cheese. And they’re also good when they come with some bacon or other fatty, carb-laden breakfast meat.
I would like to pass this award on to the following bloggers I’ve recently discovered and enjoyed:
In other news, my re-edited, re-revised (totally words) manuscript is back in the expert hands of my agent. We spent last week sending it back and forth, tweaking it here and there, and… this week… is the week… it goes back out into the scary world.
I feel like I should pack it a sack lunch and make sure its shoes are tied and pat it on the back while saying “Go get ’em, tiger!” And then do my best to hold back a tear as it gets on the bus with all the other manuscripts.
Anyhow, so I’m basically going to hyperventilate until we know something. Which could be any day now.
*shrieks and runs around kicking things over*
