What A Difference A Year Makes

Okay, so I know it’s not OFFICIALLY St. Patty’s yet, but it is St. Patty’s EVE, and Y’ALL. This is rapidly becoming my favorite holiday. Think about it: everybody wears GREEN, which is my favorite color. You do not have to buy gifts for ANYBODY and you don’t have to cook ANYTHING special. You can just throw some green dye in your regular food and BAM! Festive.

Another reason I love this holiday so much is that, for whatever reason, I’m often celebrating it in a really cool place. In 2003, I was in Madrid. 2006, the Caribbean. 2007, Dublin and London. 2009, Chicago. 2010, the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.

But my favorite thing about St. Patrick’s Day has got to be this:

St. Patrick’s Day 2011

vs.

St. Patrick’s Day 2012

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Eve, everybody! May all your Irish wishes come true, and don’t forget to wear green!

OH MY WORD is she cute!! Love that one of her sitting on the couch looking slyly off to the right. A-DOR-A-BLE.

She does, but she’s got her dad’s coloring! Blond hair and blue eyes–definitely didn’t come from me 🙂
