Of Cats And Women

Lately, my husband has developed a hobby of sorts: Pointing out all the “similarities” between myself and our cat, Peach.

According to him, Peach and I exhibit a lot of the same mannerisms, although I have no idea what he’s talking about. We’re nothing alike. NOTHING.

I mean, first of all, we like to curl up and watch people from completely different places.

Secondly, neither of us enjoys reading.

And it’s not like we’re both bothered by having our stomachs tickled.

And my disgruntled face looks NOTHING like Peach’s.

SEE?? I’m not like my cat at all. Psssh. Men.

Aww, what a cute, personal post. Glad to see it, and I agree you are NOTHING like your cat ;]

I would have to agree that Peaches is adorable, the book picture was so sweet!

  3. Haha! That's great. My last cat, God rest his kitty soul, we're identical too. But my new cat is the exact opposite.
Thanks for posting this. I needed a good laugh. ;)

This is too cute!!! And so what if you're like your cat? I mean, really, is there ever a more spoiled, independant and completely self assured creature than a cat?

  7. Heather says:

That's hilarious! And it kind of looks like she's sleeping on your manuscript in the closet… Thanks for making me smile!

  8. That was too funny!!
I'm not sure if my kitty learned her bad habits from me or the other way around, but we ended up alike. Cats were worshipped in ancient Egypt, so I think it's pretty great to be cat-like.

Hilarious. I particularly like the disgruntled face! LOL – love the kitty too – adorable ;o)

  16. Men are nuts. They don't ever see anything quite right.

But, okay, I do see just a tiny bit of sim–no no, he's crazy.

Great pics, lady! So cute, the two of you all cuddled up reading.

  17. Anne Riley says:

Thanks again everybody. Yes, Peach can be kind of cute. She was wee tiny when I took the picture of us reading.
